- There was a blip on Amazon with The Quarterlands ebook last week. I’ve sorted it out, but if you find you’ve got The Lost Zone where The Quarterlands should be (the cover will be for The Quarterlands but the internal content will be The Lost Zone), then please return the ebook for a full refund and buy it again (or just return it and redownload if doing it on KU) – the correct version is up now. My apologies for the hassle involved. Although, on the plus side, it has enabled me to have some lovely chats with a couple of readers who contacted me.
- I’ve had a lot of requests for translations of Dark Water, and am delighted to announce we are currently working on a German translation. Depending on how that goes, I’ll happily also look into other languages in due course. Let me know if you have any requests.
- I’m also intending to release a box set of the ebooks at some point in the new year.

We’ve had weird weather lately. Summer disappeared overnight and remained gone for several weeks, then resumed on odd days, just when I was breaking out the hot chocolate, ramping up the heating, and had dug out my winter boots (have I told you about my suede book fetish?). So it’s been confusing.
However, it reappeared for one absolutely glorious day recently – which just happened to be the day I met up with my good friend Angela for a natter in central London.
We met at my favourite B Bakery cafe in Covent Garden, where I may or may not have had a scone (spoiler – I did). It was delish, and I had a hot chocolate to go with it (also delish).
After a much needed catchup as we hadn’t seen each other in months, we decided to go for a wander around St James’s Park. It was truly beautiful – they really do such a wonderful job in all the London parks. Regent’s Park is probably the most impressive but St James’s is also lovely.
