Xanthe Walter has been crafting MM romances for over thirty years, creating hundreds of tales about love, adventure, and angsty men falling for each other. 

She specialises in genre-bending stories – vampire cops, paranormal pirates, BDSM romcoms… if she can mix up a few genres, she will! Her dystopian murder-mystery series, ‘Dark Water’, perfectly shows her love for blending genres and exploring emotional complexity.

When she’s not plotting her next cliffhanger, you’ll find her singing along to musical theatre hits, obsessing over Tudor history, and eating far too many scones. 

 She lives between London and Somerset with two cats who are excellent writing assistants, provided your definition of “assistance” includes strategic keyboard-sitting and delivering unwanted wildlife gifts at crucial plot moments.

 Xanthe writes epic emotional rollercoasters, but she promises the landing is always worth the journey.
