It’s been over a decade since I published Ricochet, my first original character novel, and I’m sure you are wondering where I’ve been!

Many personal things happened. I lost precious family members and friends, sold my business, and bought my dream house in the South West of England. My beloved cats Harley and Jemima passed on, and I have two gorgeous new fur babies, Coco and Indy, who bring me so much joy.

But through all of this, I’ve been writing. I set myself a challenge after Ricochet, and the result is Dark Water. It’s a four-book story (because you know Xanthe stories are never short!). It’s a mystery, a thriller, and a classic gay romance with BDSM elements. I think it’s the best thing I’ve ever written, and I hope you will, too!

As I have something new to share, I thought I’d revamp my mailing list, call it Walter’s World, and start chatting to people again.
